This blog post begins with an apology. My last post was all about coming back from a break with the hope that I could get back to riding and writing. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite go as planned. However, there is a very good reason.
At the beginning of the month, I married my best friend and love of my life. I’m now very proud to be able to call her my wife. As a result, I made the tough decision that the riding and the blog posts had to take a back seat for a while. I did plan on being super organised, plan ahead a little and have some blog posts ready to be published while I was away. As you’re well aware, that didn’t happen. I think that is something I’m going to be aiming for as we start to enter the winter months.
Still, it’s not all bad. It meant that I could focus on and enjoy my wedding and honeymoon without worrying about other bits and pieces getting in the way. After all, how often do those things happen?
It also gave me a break from everything and I was able to recharge my batteries. Hopefully, the pictures will give you an indication of what I had to endure. It’s hard, but someone has to do it. Now with the wedding planning and honeymoon prep out of the way I can get back to falling off my bike and telling you all about how much it hurt.
So, a little bit of a different post to the usual but I plan to get back into the swing of things and normal service shall be resumed in the coming weeks. There are a few things that I have planned which I can’t wait to share with you.
Until next time.
Jack
